Is that a Hovering Volkswagen Vehicle?

We're all familiar with the concept of a flying car. For years now, filmmakers have played on our interest in fantasy by dreaming up futuristic autos and taking them to the big screen. But what if Volkswagen were to create its own airborne auto and actually take it to the streets of Larksville and beyond?
As far-fetched as this idea might sound, Wyoming Valley Motors Volkswagen has reason to believe a hovering VW vehicle isn't all that impossible to conceive. In fact, Volkswagen just shared its idea for a zero-emissions "Hover Car" that would seat two passengers and operate by following along electromagnetic roads. Born out of the Volkswagen People's Car Project, a program that seeks to solve mobility issues by coming up with creative concepts, the Hover Car is meant to provide clean transportation throughout congested city areas in China.
Of course, the spherical, hovering auto is also meant to inspire creativity and cultivate a bit of industry buzz as well. Described by experts as, "an amalgam of Marty McFly's fusion-powered DeLorean and George Jetson's bubble-top flying car,"1 the Hover Car is truly worth day-dreaming over.
At this point in time, Wyoming Valley Motors Volkswagen can't tell whether or not the innovative Volkswagen vehicle idea will find its grounding as a real-life model. Regardless, we're encouraged to know that VW is not only expanding its current lineup of new Volkswagen autos, but conceptualizing mobility solutions for the future.
